The Comrades: "Aggression"

Written by Jimmy Williams and Randy Gaston. Copyright 1994.

Taking the world by storm, killing all in your path
Finding no sanctuary, taking a part in some sadistic wrath

Aggression-Victim of someone else's need
Aggression-A part of capitalist greed
Aggression-We are capitalist slaves
Aggression-Walk on our forefathers' graves

Using mustard gas on his own you find OK
But when mediators step in your way

Aggression-Isn't in the middle east
Aggression-Is in the American beast
Aggression-Isn't in the middle east
Aggression-Is in the American beast

I don't think that I should die for your greed
Or to find my self as part of some monopolistic deed

People die, you don't care
You just sit back in your plush chair
Waiting for some buttons to push
To make opposing soldiers slush

Everybody cries out "freedom"
Freedom from what?-from you
Freedom for who?-for you
Freedom for me?-no
Freedom from what?-from you
Freedom for who?-for you
Freedom for me?-no
"Freedom"-what does that mean?
